Data Recovery Assist

Imagine that you have a lot of important files and folders on your computer and a virus suddenly infects your computer and deletes or corrupts all your important data. Or you format a partition by mistake, losing all the data stored on it. In these situations, you shouldn't worry, because there is a great chance that the deleted data can be recovered completely. That's because when we delete a file or format a partition, the data which was stored on it is not gone forever, but just hidden beneath the hard disk clusters and it's recoverable, by using specialized recovery applications.

Data Recovery Assist is one of these applications. This program allows you to easily recover all the deleted data from any hard disk partition using just a couple of clicks. After installing and launching the application, the user will be presented with a graphical and simple interface, which doesn't need too much configuring. The only thing that the user should do in order to start the recovery process is to select the desired hard disk partition, from where the data was deleted, and that's it. After the recovery process is complete, the user will see all the found files and folders and will be able to recover all of them or only certain files.

The recovery directory can be set with a single mouse click. For finding a specific file or folder, there is a complex search feature available in the interface. Unfortunately, the demo version only allows you to view recoverable files but not to actually recover them.
